ASC recognizes the demand for an outside occupational safety consulting firm that specializes in providing exceptional onsite safety training & OSHA compliance consulting services. As a result, ASC was founded in 2022.

Meet Our Team
Ron Underwood
Mr. Ron Underwood co-founded American Safety Consultants on October 2022. Mr. Underwood possesses diverse experience in the fields of general industry and construction safety. He honorably served in the U.S. Navy in several leadership positions as a CTM (Cryptologic Technician Maintenance). His work experience portfolio consists of 13+ years of experience in general industry and 5+ years in construction safety work with organizations such as Johnson Controls, Ideal Engineering, Btec Turbines, and Madden Bolt.
Mr. Underwood attended the University of Texas at Arlington where he attained certifications as Specialist in Safety and Health (SSH) and is a Certified Safety and Health Official (CSHO). Mr. Underwood is dedicated to ensuring the safety and well-being of colleagues and the public. He has a proven track record of implementing effective safety programs and policies recognizing him as a reputable, dependable, and trustworthy safety professional.
Aamir Syed
Mr. Aamir Syed is co-founder of American Safety Consultants. Mr. Syed is an environmental, health, and safety professional with 19+ years of experience maintaining worker safety and health in steel mills, power plants, and oil & gas industries. He is an expert in identifying and correcting potential hazards and reviewing employee safety programs. Mr. Syed is a pragmatic and communicative professional committed to providing proactive advice on health and safety matters. Mr. Syed attended the University of Sindh where he attained a Bachelors of Arts in Economics and the University of Texas at Arlington attaining OSHA 500 & 510 certifications. Mr. Syed’s professional portfolio consists of government and private sector projects working for reputable organizations such as Madden Bolt & Galvanizing, SOS International, and Kellogg Brown & Root. He holds a U.S. Government NACI Secret Clearance and several other OSHA certifications.
